What impact level is the Solidarity sports bra?
High impact. The Solidarity is MAAREE's original high-impact sports bra, built for running, team sports, HIIT and anything else that makes an unsupported chest ache. It's the bra that won Sports Bra of the Year 2025.
What sizes does the Solidarity come in?
The Solidarity is sized 28 to 38 back, C to HH cup. Not every back-and-cup combination is made, so the quickest way to confirm yours is the size guide or a free 15-minute fitting with one of our expert fitters, online or in person, no purchase needed.
Is the Solidarity good for running with a bigger bust?
That's exactly who it was engineered for. Founder Mari Thomas-Welland tested sports bras professionally, wears a 34F herself, and built the Solidarity because nothing on the market held her. It's our most recommended bra for running above a D cup.
How do I find my Solidarity size?
Measure your underband and bust against the size guide, which shows exactly where the tape goes. If you sit between sizes or your two measurements disagree, take the Sports Bra Quiz or book a free fitting and we'll size you by eye and fit rather than numbers alone.
Is the Solidarity covered by a guarantee?
Yes. Every MAAREE bra carries a 12-month guarantee, so if it fails you within a year of normal use, we'll put it right.
What if I don't need this much support?

What's the difference between encapsulation and compression sports bras?
Compression bras apply pressure to the chest against the body and use one piece of fabric to cover both breasts. Encapsulation bras cup each breast separately, which is closer to a regular bra. The MAAREE Solidarity Sports Bra is a Hybrid bra, which combine the encapsulation and compression styles to achieve the ultimate performance.
What does sister sizing mean?
Sister sizing is the trick fitters use when the band is wrong but the cup volume is right. Going up one band size means going down one cup, and vice versa. So 32E, 34DD and 36D all hold roughly the same amount of breast tissue. They sit differently because the band changes. The rule helps you find a stocked size when your exact one is sold out.
Should a sports bra feel tight?
Snug, not painful. A new sports bra band should feel firmer than a regular bra band, especially in the first two wears, like a snug pair of jeans loosening into shape. You should be able to slide a finger under the band but no more. If you can't get a finger under the band, it's too tight; if you can fit a fist, it's too loose.
What if the bra doesn't fit when it arrives?
The best thing to do would be to book an online fitting with us. A lot of the time there's just some adjustability that's needed to get it to fit perfectly.
